The Secret to Weight Loss That Diet Programs Don't Want You to Know About!

Do any of these types of sales pitches sound familiar to you?

"Follow Our 12 Step Program for a BRAND NEW BUM!"

"This Product Will Burn More Calories than You EVEN KNEW YOU HAD."

"Once a Woman Went Down a Dress Size Just By THINKING About Our Diet!"

Okay, so those examples might be a bit exaggerated. But there really are some extremely ridiculous weight loss program claims out there.

And there are a lot of expensive ones too.

Did you know that there are quite a few natural remedies to the increased storage of fat that you don't have to pay a dime for? How much research did you do before you jumped into your last flash-fad diet?

Next time try the natural remedies these diet and weight loss programs don't want you to know about.

You may be surprised to hear what one of the most effective weight loss programs really is. You do it every single day. Sometimes you get too much of it.

But sometimes you don't get enough of it.

Sleep!

Sleep deprivation causes many dangerous and debilitating side effects - including an increased storage of fat! You can diet all you want, but if you never get enough sleep, you are unlikely to achieve the results you're working so hard for.

Why does a lack of sleep contribute to weight gain?

A lot of us don't get nearly enough sleep to stay healthy. We live in a fast-paced society. There's always something else you could be accomplishing, always another item on the to-do list. People sacrifice sleep in order to get more done all the time! It may seem as though our bodies are well able to adapt to a lack of sleep - but this is not the case.

When your body doesn't have enough sleep, it automatically responds to the lack of energy as a stressor. This includes producing the anti-stress hormone cortisol. Cortisol creates quite a few undesirable symptoms in the body - one of them being an increase in the rate of fat storage.

Uncontrollable weight gain.

You may feel as though no matter how often you exercise, or how well you eat - you just can't shed those extra pounds! This might be because you simply are not sleeping enough.

Or MAYBE you feel as though no matter how much or what you eat, you are always craving more of something. And that what you eat doesn't provide you with enough energy to get through the day. That is because in addition to cortisol, sleep deprivation also affects the release of leptin. Leptin is a hormone which regulates appetite and controls hunger. With a malfunctioning release of leptin, your body might THINK that it needs to eat more - even though it really doesn't. Getting more sleep may increase your self-control when it comes to food.

Sleep is a beautiful thing! It is a chance to refresh and restart your day. You can let go of worry, turn off your nagging concerns for a few hours. Why are we treating it so flippantly?

How many times have you laughed with a friend about a lack of sleep? Complained about how late you got home last night? Ranted about insomnia?

It's time to stop talking about sleep deprivation, and start fixing it.
