Law of Attraction and Weight Loss - An Undeniable Link

There is a special connection that links the law of attraction and weight loss. The law of attraction states that we can achieve anything we desire if we intend it and if we can visualize ourselves actually achieving it. It is an unobserved fact that people who have lost weight started with the decision to turn their lives around. The whole process starts with the mind. If we can convince ourselves that we can lose weight, then our bodies will likewise become convinced and work towards that end.

The law of attraction is simply being able to school our thoughts and actions to achieving our goal. A strong will is a prerequisite to this process of linking the law of attraction and weight loss. It requires a fair amount of discipline and confidence in our ability to successfully effect a lifestyle change.

For overweight individuals, the mind has been used to the idea that their body is ugly and there is nothing they can do about it. Instead of heeding our natural instincts to be healthy and take care of ourselves, we tend to give in too easily to external dictates, and for overweight individuals, outside forces are just too strong to resist. Mass media contributes much to the low self-esteem of overweight people. Anywhere you look, the ideal body is slim and fit. With this kind of orientation, overweight people stand no chance at seeing themselves as beautiful or loving themselves.

With the advent of the law of attraction, we learn the age old knowledge of working with the energy of the universe to change ourselves. This undeniable effectiveness of combining the law of attraction and weight loss is now being apparent to almost everyone. Life coach and self-esteem specialist Laura Fenamore highlights this link in the program she designed called Body Image Mastery.

She drew on personal experiences with law of attraction and weight loss to come up with a program that aims to teach people how to change their lives by loving themselves and accepting who and what they are first before getting to who and what they wish to become later on. This unhurried realization gives people time to remove all the negative thoughts they have of their body image and focus only on their potential to become better. If this first hurdle is cleared, then anyone with weight problems can start the visualization process, where they picture themselves according to their desired body image. This will give them the confidence and motivation to work towards achieving this vision.
